This past weekend we had an artisans fair in Os Pendellos de A Golada (Galicia), an unbeatable place to hold an artisans fair of this type.
I leave you a video with some of the artisans that I could see working in this craft fair. The sound … what better than that of the tools modifying the shapes of the materials.
I also put some photos of different objects made of wood, although the truth is that there were craftsmen of all kinds: forging, leather goods, basketry, patchwork, making musical instruments, carpentry, jewelry, sale and tasting of typical Galician products, workshops for children, lectures …
One of the artisans who attracted the most attention in this edition of this craft fair was Arturo Iglesias with his pedal lathe, a lathe very requested for demonstrations that I believe works in the ethnographic museum of Grandas de Salime.
