I’ve been wanting to make this tree-shaped wood LED lamp for a long time. Some time ago I saw a silicone mold, one of those for baking cakes, in the shape of a Christmas tree (or at least it reminds me of a Christmas tree) and I thought that it would also be a good mold to make a lampshade if I used it with a 1 watt led bulb I had at home. Making this wood led lamp took longer than I thought it would, but I am very happy with the result. In the following links I try to explain all the steps I followed in my woodworking and DIY home workshop:

Tree led lamp part 1, cutting out the tree shape to make the wood lamp

Tree led lamp: Resaw the tree shape into two equal halves.

Tree led lamp part 4, painting, assembling and lighting

Tree led lamp part 3, the tray for the shot glasses

Tree led lamp part 2, DIY lampshade
In the four previous posts I explain step by step the whole process on how to make a Christmas tree shaped led lamp more or less in detail. From how to draw and cut the shape of the Christmas tree, to how to make the paper lampshade to how to make the base for the shot glasses and how to paint and assemble the whole led lamp. Each entry has its corresponding video, but you can also see the complete making process in the following video, with less explanations but with music.
